Education & Democracy United (EDU) is a broad-based, non-partisan organization of students, faculty, and staff at colleges and universities across the country. We are a vehicle for our members to have a powerful voice in the decisions that affect their lives and communities.
We do this by:

Building relationships of trust among people and institutions across the country to organize along lines of common interest.
Identifying, supporting, and investing in local, rank-and-file campus leaders to have the skills and tools to promote free speech, academic freedom, and the issues affecting their communities.
Supporting the creation of local organizing efforts on individual campuses that have the capacity and to take on local campaigns.
Coordinating across local networks to take on larger regional and national campaigns
